I'm currently a postdoctoral researcher working with Dr. Winslow Hansen at the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies. We study how climate and fire will interact to impact the boreal forest carbon sink as atmospheric CO2 increases in the future. (Photo: Winslow Hansen)
I received my PhD from Yale University under the mentorship of Dr. Carla Staver. My dissertation research focused on how microbes could increase South African savanna tree growth by increasing their access to resources like nitrogen and phosphorus.Â
Outside of work, I like cooking, baking, reading, and hiking with my dogs.
